Lakeway, TX, USA: Parks & Trails

Trail Signs; Rough Hollow Trails

Sign numbers correspond with numbers in Trail Sign Markers on the Map. Almost all signs have confusing features, that hopefully will be resolved in the future. The developers and City of Lakeway websites are silent and thus of no help in resolving the sign confusion.

Based on the signs below and their location in the Rough Hollow area, the following can be inferred: In conflict with trail signs in the rest of the City, these signs use different nomenclature in the naming of trails: "Trail" refers to sidewalk along a  Boulevard or Street (Way); Pass refers to a nature trail in a Greenbelt itself.

Lakeside Greenbelt refers to the Greenbelt along the Rough Hollow Arm of Lake Travis; Canyonside Greenbelt refers to a Greenbelt to the west on a unnamed arm of Lake Travis between the Rough Hollow and Bee Creek Arms. Lakeside Pass refers to a trail in the Lakeside Greenbelt and Peninsula Pass refers to a trail that connects the Lakeside and Canyonside Greenbelts.
