Lakeway Blvd Trail
The median of Lakeway Boulevard features a long serpentine path that extends from the northwest end of the boulevard almost to the intersection of Lakeway Boulevard with the intersection of RR 620. There are a few short breaks in the trail at Lohmans Crossing Road and the Yaupon Creek Crossing. Except for the hill at Lakeway Drive this trail has a relatively easy grade and offers long distance walks.
Most of the Lakeway Boulevard trail was built by donated funds from the Lakeway Civic Corporation and local developers.
One of the most important features of this trail is that the trail connects the Canyonlands Trails with the Smith Greenbelt Trail. The Smith Greenbelt Trail then connects with the Hamilton Greenbelt I & II Trails. The Canyonlands Trails connect to the Mt Lakeway Trail that connects to the Serene Hills Trails that in-turn connect with the Bee Cave Primitive Trails. This trails network totals more than 20 miles of connected trails.
